Open Call for Defining the Science Advisory Group

Formed in 2021, the mission of the Defining the Science Advisory Group (DTS-AG) is to develop and maintain a national OEHS research agenda endorsed by the AIHA Board of Directors. The DTS-AG is a collaborative venture between AIHA and ACGIH and includes representatives from both organizations. This open call is to fill one (1) open seat, serving a three-year term (2022-25). Group members must be current and active members of AIHA. Please submit your application no later than Friday, July 22, 2022. If you have any questions about this opportunity, please contact AIHA’s staff CIH Michele Twilley.

Open Call for AIHA TI-SAG

The AIHA TI-SAG was formed to drive the development and implementation of reliable, effective, and user-oriented technological tools for industrial hygiene/occupational and environmental health and safety (IH/OEHS) applications. This open call is to fill four (4) open seats, each serving a three-year term (2022-25). Group members must be current and active members of AIHA. Please submit your application no later than Friday, July 22, 2022. If you have any questions about this opportunity, please contact AIHA’s staff CIH Michele Twilley.

Open Call for Academic Advisory Group
In late 2019 the AIHA Board supported the creation of an Academic Advisory Group that is now serving to inform and recommend strategies to strengthen our academic community and, ultimately, the profession. The group is to be comprised of up to 10 members. Currently, all members work as either full-time professors or part-time adjunct professors. However, we are open to expanding membership to industry practitioners, in particular those who maintain close ties with a university (e.g., serving on their advisory board). This group does not have specified term limits or officer positions, although we would like new members to commit to serving one or two year terms. Interested parties should apply by close of business on Friday, July 22, 2022.
