Falls Church, Va. (May 6, 2021)—AIHA is pleased to announce the companies sponsoring the virtual American Industrial Hygiene Conference and Expo (AIHce EXP), which will take place May 24-26, 2021. This year’s sponsors, representing a variety of industries, will support AIHA in hosting the exclusively virtual event created for professionals from every sector of industrial hygiene and occupational and environmental health and safety.

“AIHA is incredibly thankful for our industry partners—new and returning—who support this year's conference,” said Laura Cilano-Garcia, AIHA’s program director of strategic partnerships. “Despite the ongoing pandemic and other issues currently affecting many businesses, they have helped us produce an exceptional experience for our members and attendees.”

This year’s Opening General Session, featuring keynote speaker Dr. Sudip Bose, is sponsored by inspection, testing, certification, and verification service provider SGS Galson. SGS Galson has sponsored AIHce EXP for the past three years.

In addition to education and networking opportunities, the virtual AIHce EXP 2021 provides career development opportunities, especially for OEHS students and early career professionals. Liberty Mutual Insurance, in support of their commitment to environmental, social, and governance topics, is sponsoring the Nexus, a virtual lounge specifically designed for students and early career professionals. At the Nexus, they may attend the “Lessons in Leadership” presentation series, which is designed to help them get established in the IH/OEHS community.

The Lunch and Learn Series, a popular AIHce EXP event, will now feature six additional sessions that attendees can participate in during their lunch breaks. SKC Inc., a provider of industrial hygiene and occupational safety instruments, and Industrial Scientific Corporation, a provider of gas detection equipment, will each sponsor a session on Monday, May 24. Medical and safety technology provider Dräger Inc. and personal protective equipment retailer DuPont will sponsor sessions showcasing the companies’ latest developments on Tuesday, May 25. On Wednesday, May 26, VelocityEHS, an environmental health and safety (EHS) software company, and occupational science publication ACS Chemical Health & Safety will sponsor sessions intended to provide attendees with tips to improve their safety education and practice.

The Closing General Session, featuring guest speaker Mike Walsh, is also sponsored by SKC Inc. Other sponsors who support AIHce EXP include monitoring technology company Casella and EHS instrument provider TSI Incorporated.

Top sponsors receive a star number. The Star Sponsors for AIHce EXP 2021 are as follows:

  • Four Star Sponsor: SKC Inc.
  • Three Star Sponsor: Dräger Inc.
  • Two Star Sponsors: Casella, DuPont, Industrial Scientific Corporation, SGS Galson, TSI Incorporated, Velocity EHS

In addition to the sponsored content, the virtual conference program features education sessions related to COVID-19 and dozens of other OEHS topics, case studies, virtual health and wellness events, recorded poster presentations, 25-minute “pop-up” sessions, networking opportunities, and a virtual exhibition hall. The conference’s online platform will provide participants with seamless event access; a matchmaking service linking attendees, exhibitors, and presentations; and video and text chat functions.
