FALLS CHURCH, Va. (April 20, 2020) -- The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), is excited to announce a powerful new job board as part of the AIHA CareerAdvantage Center.

AIHA collaborated with YM Careers—a leader in association career resources and career events—to create a job board that makes it easier for industrial hygiene (IH) and occupational health (OH) professionals to advance their careers and for companies to attract the best and brightest of the IH/OH field. The new platform provides a variety of employment resources, tools, and services for IH/OH job seekers and employers throughout the country.

"We're thrilled to introduce this new platform that both helps talented IH/OH professionals move on to the next phase of their career and highlights our partner companies as great places to work," said Wanda Barbour, AIHA's senior manager of member and customer relations. "The new CareerAdvantage job board will be a powerful recruiting tool for our members and our partner companies. We strongly believe that it will set a new standard for the way people and companies find jobs and talents in our industry."

The platform creates a dynamic job marketplace for prospective employees and industry employers. Entry-level job seekers and seasoned professionals alike can search and apply for IH/OH positions posted by employers across the United States and around the world. Hiring managers, human resources professionals, and recruiters can quickly find qualified candidates who meet their specific job requirements and are likely to succeed in the available positions.

Job seekers can use the board to:

  • Search for openings in the U.S. and abroad.
  • Make their resume stand out and be more accessible.
  • Prepare to ace their next job interview with the help of coaching sessions.
  • Use their social media presence and digital communication style to their advantage.

Employers benefit by using the board to:

  • Save time with quick and easy online job posting.
  • Find qualified resumes with the convenient database search.
  • Manage applications and get valuable reporting information in one place.

The CareerAdvantage Center is one the many benefits AIHA provides to the IH/OH profession.
