3rd China-U.S. Occupational Health Symposium to Be Held in August

The National Center for International Cooperation in Work Safety, SAWS, China (NCICS), the Beijing Municipal Institute of Labor Protection, and AIHA will co-host the third China-U.S. Occupational Health Symposium and first International Occupational Health Forum in Beijing, China, August 22–23, 2017. More than 300 professionals and practitioners in occupational health are expected to attend the OccuHealth Forum, which is intended to enhance the management capacity of companies in occupational health and improve research and development capacity in occupational health. The forum will also address challenges faced by occupational health regulators and companies. The symposium’s two-day program will focus on topics such as emergency response to accidents involving chemical toxicants, control technologies for noise and vibration, health risk assessment on nanomaterials, application of big data in occupational health, and occupational diseases. The event and exhibition will be held at the Beijing International Convention Center. Participants will include senior representatives from the International Labor Organization and World Health Organization, occupational health inspectors from regulators, and experts in occupational health from universities, research institutes, and public institutions. Practitioners from occupational health service organizations, training organizations, insurance companies, health consulting and disease control organizations, and related industries will also attend.
