Last week, AIHA members Dianne Grote Adams, CIH, CSP, CPEA, and Bill Adams, CIH, CSP, CPEA, LEED AP, represented AIHA at the Asia Pacific Occupational Safety & Health Organization (APOSHO) meeting in Bangkok, Thailand. Dianne, a former AIHA Board member, presented a brief keynote on Thursday, July 3, to approximately 150 attendees. On Friday, Dianne and Bill presented a half-day Industrial Hygiene and Exposure Assessment Program to more than 50 engaged professionals. This marks the first time that AIHA has presented IH programming at APOSHO's meeting.

"Dianne and Bill spent a fair amount of time preparing for the presentation, including morphing a four-day program into a half-day program, and then traveling halfway around the world to present," said AIHA Executive Director Peter J. O'Neil, FASAE, CAE. "They did a fantastic job and the participants related extremely well to them."

AIHA is an affiliate member of APOSHO, which is an international body comprising nonprofit professional organizations devoted to the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases.
