AIHA Seeks Nominations for the IOHA Lifetime Achievement Award

AIHA seeks nominations for the IOHA Lifetime Achievement Award, which honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the promotion and development of occupational hygiene practice that improve the health and welfare of workers. Recipients of the IOHA Lifetime Achievement Award have substantially furthered basic science, established occupational hygiene programs, promoted the quality of occupational hygiene service, or contributed to the harmonization of occupational hygiene practice. The award will next be presented at the 11th International Occupational Hygiene Association (IOHA) International Scientific Conference, which will be held Sept. 24-26, 2018, in Washington, D.C.

AIHA will soon send its list of nominees to IOHA. AIHA members should email suggested nominees to Larry Sloan, AIHA’s CEO, by COB on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017. Please be sure to attach supporting information, including a current curriculum vitae (in English) and other material demonstrating candidates’ qualifications.
