AIHA Urges Confirmation of Kristen Kulinowski to Serve on the U.S. CSB

AIHA has sent a letter of support for the confirmation of Kristen Kulinowski to serve on the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board (CSB). Kulinowski is a senior faculty fellow in chemistry at Rice University and works as a research staff member at IDA Science and Technology Policy Institute in Washington, D.C. Previously she served as director of the International Council on Nanotechnology at Rice University. She possesses considerable expertise in the chemistry field and has been involved in the safety and health aspects of the evolving field of nanotechnology for many years, serving as a member of the AIHA Nanotechnology Working Group since 2009.

AIHA believes that Kulinowski’s expertise and knowledge will make a positive impact on decisions made at this independent U.S. federal agency.
