was honored by the International Academy of Visual Arts and awarded two 2013 Communicator Awards for its video “The Right Thing to Do — What Is Industrial Hygiene?

“We’re thrilled to be recognized by the International Academy of Visual Arts for this video,” said Peter O’Neil, FASAE, CAE, the executive director of AIHA. “As the video demonstrates, the exposures facing modern workers are challenging and the need for industrial hygiene is greater than ever, but through scientific and educational techniques, industrial hygienists are able to solve health and safety problems in thousands of different work settings and in the community.”
The Communicator Awards, a leading international awards program recognizing creative excellence in communications, are judged by the International Academy of Visual Arts, an invitation-only group consisting of top-tier professionals from acclaimed media, communications, advertising, creative, and marketing firms. The awards are distinguished in the two online video categories of education and training.
AIHA also received this year’s International Summit Creative Award in the category of education/training videos. The Summit Creative Award recognizes and celebrates the creative accomplishments of small and medium agencies and other creative groups. Entries in 23 major categories are judged against a stringent set of standards for innovation, creative concepts, execution, and the ability to communicate and persuade. This year's creative competition included entries from 22 countries.
