AIHA is collaborating with the Central Industrial Hygiene Association – India (CIHA) for the International Industrial Hygiene Conference, which will be held Feb. 6–8, 2017, in Mumbai, India. Organizations supporting the event include the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) and the Indian Association of Occupational Health (IAOH). The conference will provide attendees with education and training on minimizing occupational health risk and integrating occupational hygiene and medicine in environmental health and safety.
AIHA President Steven E. Lacey, PhD, CIH, CSP, will present the opening session of the conference, and AIHA member Srinivas Durgam, CIH, global IH and ergonomics programs leader at GE, will present a session focused on the top five things EHS professionals should know about additive manufacturing.
A professional development course, “High Potent Compound Handling in Pharmaceutical Industries,” will follow the conference on Wednesday, Feb. 8.
