Call for Contributions: Engineering Controls and Prevention through Design Resources

Posted February 12, 2014

Do you know of a great engineering control or prevention through design online resource that you wish everyone knew about? Submit it to the Engineering Control Technology and Prevention through Design Library on the AIHA® Hazard Prevention and Engineering Controls Committee (HPECC) portal.

HPECC is developing the library to improve Web access to prevention through design and engineering control information. The library is an online collection of links to existing resources for occupational health students and professionals.

HPECC’s goal is to compile links to examples of engineering control concepts and related information, similar to what the Laboratory Health and Safety Committee has done for related technical topics.

Links may highlight tools, research, case studies, and other information that promotes successful development of engineering controls and prevention through design concepts.  Anyone may submit a link for consideration. For more information about submitting a link, visit HPECC’s Web page.
