Posted May 22, 2013
USA Today recently published a letter to the editor by the Center for Safety and Health Sustainability (CSHS) on last month's garment factory collapse in Bangladesh that killed more than 1,000 workers. The letter encourages corporations to not only adopt a sustainable business model, but to also ensure that that model incorporates sustainable occupational safety and health practices. CSHS is a joint effort founded by AIHA, ASSE, and the Institution for Occupational Safety and Health. For more information about CSHS, visit the Center’s home page.
