In the latest video in the AIHA® Thought Leaders series, Perry Logan, PhD, CIH, past chair of AIHA's Exposure Assessment Strategies Committee and Gas and Vapor Detection Systems Committee, discusses the importance of taking advantage of leadership opportunities in the industrial hygiene profession. Logan urges industrial hygienists to hone their leadership skills by getting involved in the AIHA Future Leaders Institute and the association's numerous technical committees.
"I've found that learning the technical skills is really important in this career, but I’ve also found that having leadership skills is just as critical," he says.
