Making accurate exposure decisions is the core competency of the industrial hygiene profession, and the use of statistical tools for proper data interpretation is a critical professional skill. To help ensure that students graduating from industrial hygiene training programs are well equipped with those skills, AIHA® is once again sponsoring a free Train-the-Trainer workshop at AIHce for academic faculty and current students.
The workshop will enhance attendees' knowledge of techniques for analyzing data while providing tools, tips, and techniques for teaching those skills to others. Participants will be introduced to a package of presentation slides, exercises, and data analysis tools that they can take and incorporate into exposure assessment courses at their own industrial hygiene training institutions. Experienced instructors John Mulhausen, PhD, CIH, and Perry Logan, PhD, CIH, will provide background on the teaching materials along with suggestions for their use in teaching others.
Current students or faculty members in an academic industrial hygiene training program can register for this free special session under “optional events” during the online AIHce registration process. Seats are limited, so get your name on the list today!
