Each year at AIHce, the Safety Committee honors student posters that demonstrate a relevant contribution to the field of occupational safety and health. At AIHce 2014 in San Antonio, a seven-person team of Safety Committee members used a newly designed tablet-friendly form to judge the student posters on appearance, content, technical relevance and need.
"Occupational Heat Strain in a Hot Underground Mine," presented by R. Reed, E. Lutz, D. Turner, and S. Littau, of the University of Arizona, received the highest average score and took the Safety Committee Ribbon.
In the picture above, Dan Maser of the AIHA Safety Committee had just congratulated Mr. Rustin Reed for winning the Committee's Best Student Poster Ribbon.
