Young Professionals: Win a Place at IOHA 2015 in London

Posted March 11, 2015

Young occupational hygienists have the chance to win a place worth $5,000 at the upcoming 10th International Scientific Conference of the International Occupational Hygiene Association (IOHA) by entering a new competition launched by the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS). The conference will be held April 27–30, 2015, in London.

The competition is sponsored by 3M, and is open to young hygienists who are 40 years of age or younger as of Dec. 31, 2015. Because AIHA is a member society of IOHA, AIHA members who fit this age requirement are eligible to enter.

To enter the competition, applicants should create a PowerPoint presentation on the topic “Getting Your PPE Facts Right – 5 Facts and 5 Myths.” Presentations should be uploaded to www.slideshare.net and promoted using Twitter, tagging @bohsworld and using the hashtags #IOHA2015 and #3Mcompetition.

The closing date for entries is March 24, 2015. For more information, visit the BOHS website. To learn more about the conference, visit the IOHA London 2015 home page.
