Consulting firms range from large multi-national organizations which maintain operations around the world to small-medium sized enterprises that may focus on a particular industry sector or geographic area. Many college graduates find working as a consultant exposues them to a broad range of opportunities quickly. Their job is a multifaceted one that touches every aspect of an organization and benefits a company’s bottom line through increased productivity, improved morale, and therefore, lower workers' compensation and liability costs. OEHS professionals act as advisers, making recommendations and setting standards to keep the workplace safe. This requires working with employees at all job levels and requires a genuine commitment to caring about people and the environment.
