2021 AIHA Board of Director Election Results
The selection of individuals for the AIHA Board of Directors is performed by the Board Nominating Committee, as prescribed in the Association Bylaws. The committee consists of seven (7) AIHA full members.
There are three (3) standing Board member seats—the AIHA Past President (who serves as chair), the AIHA Vice-President, and one (1) at-large director, generally in his/her 3rd year of office and selected by the Past President. The other four (4) general members were selected by the committee chair and subsequently approved by the full Board through an open-call process. They represent professionals spanning early to late-career and reflect active engagement in various volunteer groups and local sections. The committee members work in various industry sectors (i.e., academia, government, industry, and consulting).
All committee members serve a one (1)-year term and carry voting rights. Also, the AIHA President and the CEO, who serve as ex-officio members and are not entitled to vote, participate in the committee's final discussions to ensure objectivity and fairness.
The AIHA Board is pleased to announce the membership elected the following individuals to serve on the 2021 AIHA Board of Directors:

- Treasurer-Elect: Nancy M. McClellan, MPH, CIH, CHMM
- Director: Justine R. Parker, CIH, SCP, CHMM, CPH
- Director: Courtney K. Tinner, CIH, CSP
