AIHA’s New Organizational Group Membership
AIHA is now offering organizational group membership as a cost-effective way of bundling multiple individual AIHA memberships into one organizational membership. Previously, organizational membership cost $999 for three individual memberships and additional organizational benefits. However, AIHA listened to members’ feedback and made membership more cost-effective than ever.
As part of the AIHA family, you can expect top-tier benefits and resources that will help you keep your workforce healthy and safe. Fewer workplace illnesses and injuries will result in increased productivity and profitability. You’re already familiar with the value that AIHA delivers to its members. Now we’ve made it easier and more cost-effective than ever for organizations, such as the one you work for, to invest in you.
Our first tier starts at five individual memberships valued at $240 each for only $835, which provides a 30 percent discount for your employer. Savings increase along with the number of employees covered under an organizational membership plan. Our pricing is as follows:
- 0–5 members: $835—a discount of up to 30 percent
- 6–15 members: $2,340—a discount of up to 35 percent
- 16–35 members: $3,900—a discount of up to 40 percent
- 36–55 members: $7,360—a discount of up to 45 percent
- 56 or more members—a discount of up to 50 percent
Organizational group membership ensures that employees get everything they need to enhance their professional development and are better informed on OEHS issues. Each member gets all the AIHA membership benefits that you are accustomed to, such as:
- access to the mentoring program and Catalyst, our online OEHS platform
- subscriptions to The Synergist (print and digital) and the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Hygiene (digital)
- discounts on AIHA University webinars and courses and AIHce EXP registration
- free shipping for publications
- no additional charge to join a volunteer group or technical committee
Your employer knows that investing in you is investing in the future of the business. If you are better informed about occupational and environmental health and safety, your employer will benefit by being protected from unnecessary risk. That’s why companies allocate part of their budgets for professional development, training, conferences, and continuing education. AIHA membership keeps you in the loop on the latest developments in the OEHS field.
AIHA organizational group membership offers more than other professional societies in the industry, including a discount of up to 50 percent for groups of 56 or more. With membership renewals underway, having your organization or business join as an organizational group member is a great opportunity to save money in 2023. Below are some frequently asked questions about organizational membership.
Q. How can I join as an organizational group member?
A. Print out the 2023 organizational group membership form (PDF) and fax to +1 (703) 207-3561 or mail to:
AIHA P.O. Box 1519
Merrifield, VA 22116-9990
Membership benefits are available upon the payment being processed.
Q. If I have six employees, do I still have to pay for the second tier of membership?
A. You have two options: you can either pay for the second tier of membership, or you can join at the first tier and have the additional employee join as an individual at $240 separately. These options apply to other tiers, too. For example, organizations with 16 employees can either sign up everyone at the 16–35 tier or join at the 6–15 tier and have one employee join as an individual member at $240.
Q. How can I join a local section as an organizational group member?
A. You would first join as an organizational group member and then log in to your member profile and pay for your respective local section separately. We are not able to add separate individual local sections to one organizational invoice.
