The Season of Family, Relationships, and Deeper Understanding

It’s fall, that cozy time of year when we check in on our families and friends, take time to really see how they’re doing, and ultimately, strengthen relationships. With that in mind, I invite you to take a moment to answer a few questions about issues you’re interested in and government relations actions you might want to take. The goal is to help us better understand how we can serve you.

You see, you’re the best, most influential advocates we have, and we depend on you to help transfer expertise into public policies that protect more workers and their communities from occupational and environmental health and safety hazards.

Each person has unique interests. Some may devote their lives to protecting people from wildfire-related exposures, while others focus on preventing occupational hearing loss. Likewise, some may get excited about the prospect of closely working with legislators to draft, introduce, and enact legislation, while others prefer to help author comments on proposed government regulations—and some may enjoy those and many other aspects of government relations.

As we continue growing our grassroots advocacy at AIHA, it’s crucial that we deepen our understanding of you, because you’re at the center of it all. While we encourage you to participate in all types of government relations activities, we know that each of you has different interests, so we want to tailor an experience that’s right and rewarding for you.

Your interests and desired activities can change over time, so we’ll check in with you regularly. For now, though, please help us serve you better by taking a moment to fill out a brief survey that will aid us in continuing to provide you with world-class content and services.
