Across more than 80 scientific sessions, attendees will discover new research and practical approaches that support the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of occupational and environmental hazards.

For members of AIHA, the meeting offers numerous opportunities to engage with emerging science related to workplace exposures, occupational health risks, inhalation hazards, exposure assessment, and next-generation risk assessment.

The 2027 SOT Annual Meeting will take place March 14–17, 2027, in San Antonio, Texas, and features scientific programming focused on:

  • occupational exposure assessment and worker protection
  • emerging workplace hazards
  • inhalation toxicology and respiratory health
  • next-generation approaches to risk assessment and decision-making

Relevant sessions include:

  • Occupational Exposure Limits: Translating Hazard Assessment Data on Reproductive and Developmental Toxicity to the Workplace
  • Large-Scale Lithium-Ion Battery Fire Events: Chemical, Elemental, and Exposure Hazards
  • Occupational Exposure to 3D Printing Emissions and Potential Health Impacts
  • Silica, Asbestos, Metals, and Dust: Mechanisms of Lung Injury, Impaired Repair, and Disease
