NIOSH Grants Request from Reusable Respirators to Rescind One Approval

The company Reusable Respirators LLC has voluntarily rescinded one respirator approval, according to a notice posted as a PDF to the NIOSH website on March 5. The rescission affects Reusable Respirators’ ElastoMaskPro series N95 half-mask elastomeric respirator. Respirators bearing the approval number TC-84A-9388 are no longer approved by NIOSH and may no longer be used, manufactured, assembled, sold, or distributed. The agency directs individuals to contact Reusable Respirators for additional information regarding this decision.
