NIOSH Grants Company’s Request to Rescind One N95 Approval
Jahan Company, trading as IREMA Ireland, has voluntarily rescinded one respirator approval, according to a notice published on the NIOSH website this month. The rescission affects the company’s Facemate N95 respirator. According to the notice (PDF), respirators bearing the approval number TC-84A-8129 are no longer approved by NIOSH and may not be used, manufactured, assembled, sold, or distributed.
