EPA Webinar to Focus on Cleaning, Disinfection of Schools

EPA will host a webinar on Oct. 13 that addresses best practices for managing the cleaning and disinfection of schools, day cares, and universities during the COVID-19 pandemic, the agency announced in a press release. Webinar speakers will discuss the implementation of cleaning and disinfecting protocols at educational institutions, the proper way to clean high-touch surfaces, the interpretation of product labels, and EPA resources for selecting disinfectants approved for use against SARS-CoV-2. These resources include joint EPA/CDC guidance on cleaning and disinfection, an infographic on use of surface disinfectants, and the agency’s “List N” webpage, which identifies disinfectants for SARS-CoV-2.
