Are you confident in the performance and effectiveness of your Confined Space Program? Despite having these programs in place, the rate of confined space fatalities has remained stubbornly high over the past 20-25 years. This persistent issue highlights the urgent need for improved methods to accurately measure and enhance the effectiveness of confined space safety initiatives.

This webinar addresses this critical need by introducing participants to crucial metrics designed to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of confined space programs, ultimately aiming to reduce fatalities.

Participants will also be provided with a comprehensive yet easy-to-follow confined space performance metrics evaluation checklist. Developed as part of the 2nd Edition of the AIHA Industrial Hygiene Performance Metrics manual, the checklist can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of their confined space program.

Join us to review these metrics to your own confined space program and make meaningful improvements that can save lives.

Learning Objectives

After this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Identify key compliance and risk reduction elements of a Confined Space Program.
  • Outline key confined space performance metrics and discuss their basis.
  • Discuss the best methods to apply confined space metrics and resolutions.
  • Utilize a ready-to-use Confined Space Program metrics tool to evaluate and enhance compliance with OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, and CSA standards and guidelines.
