AIHA to Honor Volunteers and Volunteer Groups at 2023 Mark of Excellence Ceremony

Phoenix (May 22, 2023)—AIHA will recognize individuals and groups that have made significant contributions to the industrial hygiene (IH) and occupational and environmental health and safety (OEHS) profession during the association’s annual Mark of Excellence Ceremony. The ceremony will take place on May 22 at 5 p.m. PDT in the Phoenix Convention Center. As one of the scheduled events for AIHce EXP 2023, the Mark of Excellence Ceremony will be held on the main stage in the conference’s expo hall, near the AIHA booth.

Awards will be presented for volunteer work in several categories, including leadership, mentorship, research, and advocacy. These awards represent a high level of achievement within the IH/OEHS profession and acknowledge recipients’ outstanding contributions to fostering and advancing IH/OEHS in workplaces and communities around the world.

“The individuals and volunteer groups we will honor today are distinguished by their innovative spirits and dedication to the advancement of our profession,” said AIHA CEO Lawrence Sloan. “It is a great pleasure to honor them for their exceptional work, and we hope that their achievements will inspire the next generation of IH/OEHS professionals.”
