The Synergist Weekly

The Synergist Weekly
is delivered to all AIHA members every Wednesday. Each issue of The Synergist Weekly directs readers to articles published on AIHA.org that are written by AIHA staff, primarily based on information from government, regulatory, and non-profit sources (OSHA, NIOSH, CDC, EPA, the U.S. Chemical Safety Board, IRSST, ISO, and several others).

A recent issue of The Synergist Weekly included links to a summary of World Health Organization guidelines for protecting workers from the potential risks of manufactured nanomaterials, a recent NIOSH Health Hazard Evaluation report on occupational exposures in a vape shop, and a new monograph published by the International Agency for Research on Cancer that describes its evaluation of the carcinogenicity of the organochlorine insecticides lindane and DDT. The Synergist Weekly also features links to AIHA news of interest, such as an article about AIHA's first meeting with the new U.S. Department of Labor Secretary R. Alexander Acosta, and directs readers to selected articles in the current issue of the digital Synergist, such as this article on 21st-century manufacturing challenges and opportunities for industrial hygienists.

To ensure that they receive The Synergist Weekly and other important email communications from AIHA, members should add the email address email@communications.aiha.org to their "safe senders" list. For questions about delivery, please contact the Synergist editors.
