Pacific Northwest (PNS) Local Section Scholarship

Applicant attends an accredited college or university in, or is a resident of Washington, Oregon, Montana, Alaska, or Northern Idaho, in an industrial hygiene or health & safety for a bachelor's or master's degree, or PhD prior to their senior/graduating year. Student has a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Applicant provides 2 letters of recommendation from the following: Department Chair or Faculty member familiar with your work, present or past employer or faculty member, and previous employer or previous undergraduate instructor or current academic advisor.

Applicant agrees to provide 2 hours of volunteer service to PNS AIHA within one year of receiving the award. Service provided during the previous year is also acceptable. Service opportunities include attending the NOHC registration desk, performing as a moderator at the NOHC, assisting with organizing the NOHC or Spring Symposium, etc.

Applicant cannot be a current member of the PNS AIHA Board of Directors.

The Pacific Northwest (PNS) AIHA Local Section will award this scholarship in the upcoming 2024 - 2025 cycle.
