An international e-Member is someone who would otherwise qualify as a full member and who resides outside the United States and Canada. If this is you, then you are eligible for international membership. This virtual membership has access to Synergist magazine, members-only content, an online community, and resources. An international member may vote on matters relating to the Association and serve on committees.

AIHA members are located worldwide, and a virtual membership is the perfect way to stay connected with your peers and be updated on global topics, technology, and trends within your industry.

For our international members, we offer a virtual community and network that allows you to quickly find solutions to the problems you face around the clock. Be part of the global IH/OEHS professionals community and gain valuable global perspectives on your work.

There are no additional administrative fees for membership or additional costs to actively participate in the 48+ technical and professional development volunteer groups.

Developing economy countries

Individuals residing in a country with a developing economy, as identified by the World Bank, qualify for virtual section membership without having to be a national AIHA member in good standing.

The Virtual Section offers a limited scope of benefits, including:

  • Catalyst Community Page
  • Three educational webinars per year
  • Skype "tech talk" networks
  • A special in-person welcome event at AIHA Connect
