Bradley S. King Elected AIHA Vice President

The 2023 AIHA Board of Directors election has concluded, and Bradley S. King, PhD, MPH, CIH, has been elected AIHA vice president. King is a captain in the U.S. Public Health Service and serves as the current AIHA secretary. Following his term as vice president, King will progress to president-elect, president, and past president. Each of these positions is for a one-year term.

AIHA members also elected Lucinette Alvarado, MS, CIH, as treasurer-elect. Alvarado, the corporate CIH and technical services director for SKC Inc., is a current AIHA director. After a one-year term as treasurer-elect, Alvarado will progress to the position of AIHA treasurer.

Vanessa A. Brady, MS, CIH, CSP, and John R. Moore III, MS, CIH, CSP, were elected to three-year terms as AIHA directors.

The terms of the new officers will begin on May 24 at AIHce EXP.

The 2023 AIHA Board of Directors election was conducted electronically from Feb. 10 to March 3. A total of 1,358 members voted in the election out of an eligible population of 5,533 for a participation rate of 24.5 percent.
