How to Contribute

The industrial hygiene profession needs a pipeline of highly trained and skilled professionals if it is to continue to meet the needs of a global economy. The American Industrial Hygiene Foundation‘s sole purpose is to provide scholarships to the best and the brightest to insure this critical need is being met.

AIHF is exempt from federal income taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to AIHF are tax-deductible, as provided by law.

Steven P. Levine Memorial Scholarship

AIHA Past President Steven P. Levine, PhD, CIH, passed away March 29, with his wife, Barbara, and close friends by his side. Before his passing, Dr. Levine requested that he be remembered by his students and peers with a donation to the American Industrial Hygiene Foundation (AIHF), of which he was a great supporter.

In honor of Dr. Levine, the Steven P. Levine Memorial Scholarship was established. This scholarship gives preference to graduates of the University of Michigan or graduates pursuing exposure science, occupational health risk management, or advancing the use if IH principles and practices in other disciplines.

Donations to this scholarship can be mailed to AIHF, 3141 Fairview Park Drive, Suite 777, Falls Church, VA 22042. Please note that the donation is for this particular scholarship.

Please e-mail Laurie Mutdosch, AIHA’s manager of professional community, with any questions about AIHF.
