CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PLAN (CIP)

The continuous improvement strategy is the culmination of the Advancing the OEHS Science and Practice initiatives that are designed to address gaps between current and state of the art (best-in-class) OEHS practices. The Principles of Good Practice and the State of the Art versus Practice Surveys were used to identify, and give priority to, risk-critical practice gaps that have the most impact on the protection of workers and communities.

Each year-long Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) focuses on incremental steps that AIHA can take to provide training, tools and system improvements in each domain. Each one-year plan, in a series of plans, is designed to elevate OEHS practice.
