Big News!

A New Name and a New Look for AIHA’s Annual Conference
We are rebranding our annual conference, previously known as AIHce EXP, as AIHA CONNECT: The Conference and Expo for OEHS Professionals. The new brand was unveiled on May 24, 2023, during the final conference under the AIHce EXP name, in Phoenix, Arizona.

Meet the New AIHA Board of Directors
AIHA has chosen the members of its Board of Directors for the 2023–2024 term. The new Board members were inducted at AIHA’s May 24 business meeting, which was held in Phoenix, Arizona, in tandem with the association’s conference, AIHce EXP 2023.

Fresh From the Oven!
AIHA is pleased to announce the publication of three new videos:

  1. Be a game changer: Level up on health and safety at work. OEHS professionals play an invaluable role in creating safer and healthier work environments. Thanks to the Board for Global EHS Credentialing for their partnership in helping create this video.
  2. The Value of OEHS to Younger Generations. Several OEHS professionals visited the Fabrication Lab ("FabLab") at the Si Se Puede Foundation in Chandler, Arizona, to discuss health, safety, and risk management in the robotics lab. Find out how the teens valued the experience and in turn, challenge OEHS professionals to help invest in our communities through health and safety practices.
  3. Communities Need the Next Generation of OEHS. It's important for the community to talk about Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety with students because that's where you build a safety culture that ultimately impacts communities.

Attention #IamIH Heroes!

Do you want to make a difference in your community? Then we have a challenge for you!
For the next ten months, we challenge you to travel across the nation, or just around your neighborhood, and share your insights about the profession of OEHS with as many students as possible. This includes students in elementary or secondary schools, colleges, and universities. It is crucial for everyone to comprehend the significance of the IH/OEHS profession.
