What continuing education credits are offered?

Course credit is calculated in contact hours which is recognized by most accrediting bodies. Check with your accrediting body (BGC/ABIH, BCSP, etc) for reporting requirements.

How long will I have to complete my online course?

Each course description page lists the term of access for the offering (typically 90 days, 6 months or 1 year). Your enrollment date is the invoice date, and the expiration date calculates from there.

If I will not complete my course by the stated deadline, what are my options?

We do offer 6 month and 12 month extensions to allow for more time to complete your coursework.

If my online course has a final exam, am I able to take it online?

Please refer to the course description and/or course materials to see if a final exam is part of your course requirements. If it is, you will complete the final exam in the online classroom as part of the credit submission process.

How quickly after completing a course will my AIHA transcript be updated?

The online classroom should automatically update your AIHA transcript when course requirements have been completed.

May employees in my office also complete my online course?

Enrollment is specific to the individual who is registered for the course. AIHA will only administer the course (i.e., process the final exam, award a certificate of completion, maintain a student record, etc.) for the individual who registered for the course.

My company would like to order multiple copies of a single course. Can we receive a discount?

We do offer discounts for bulk purchasing of several of our courses.

May I purchase the course for a nonmember of AIHA using my membership to qualify for the member price?

Member prices are reserved strictly for members. We would encourage your coworker to consider joining AIHA and to learn more about the many benefits and opportunities of membership.

Is it possible to get an invoice for the course I want to enroll in to provide to my procurement office?

Yes! Please email us and we can assist in pulling together what you need for course approval through your procurement office.

What is the refund policy for online courses?

Online courses are non-refundable. If you have been registered for the incorrect course, please email us so we can fix your account.

Do you offer payment plans for online courses?

Online courses must be paid in full before access is granted.
