Many OEHS career professionals are interested in pursuing professional certifications like the Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation to further their professional knowledge, demonstrate their experience and credibility, and show their professional achievements. The CIH and other credentials (such as the Qualified Environmental Professional or Safety Auditor) by the Board for Global EHS Credentialing (BGC) require a thorough application before OEHS professionals can sit for the exams. However, the requirements needed to apply and the application review process typically generates many questions and concerns. In this webinar, hosted by AIHA’s Student and Early Career Professional Committee, the BGC Application Director and Application Support, Dr. Yvette Smith and Mr. Jody DuBeau will provide critical information on what is required for and how to successfully apply for the CIH and other credentials from the BGC, as well as a robust Q&A session to answer your questions.
